12 Hours of Pine Log Endurance Weekend Postponed

Alan Canfield of Panama City, racing at the Pine Log 2012 4 Hour Race2013 12 Hours of Pine Log Endurance Weekend Postponed Due to Flooding

Need more of an excuse than beautiful white sand and emerald waters to visit the beach?  Then prepare yourself and save the date because 12 hours of Pine Log is back!

The 12th annual Mountain Biking event will be held on October 5th and will mark the return of the 6 and 12 hour format with individual and relay options.  For those who prefer the road, we will also offer our always popular metric century leaving from Crooked Creek which will include a map, rest stop, SAG vehicle, and t-shirt.  Don’t worry!  You’ll be back in time to watch all of the action unfold and can hopefully lend a hand during the day’s festivities as well.

The fun doesn’t end on Saturday, though, as this year’s event will also feature a 5 mile trail running race held on Sunday morning October 6th, so bring those running shoes and prepare to get dirty!

As in previous years, a cash purse will be up for grabs and split evenly among the overall top individuals (male and female from both the 6 and 12 hour events) and teams (2 person relay for the 6 hour and four person max for the 12 hour event). Payout amount to be determined on the day of event and is based on the number of participants.  To be eligible, riders must complete a minimum of 7 laps during the 6 hour and 12 during the 12 hour.  We will also offer Age Group awards going three deep within each category.
