Tour de Ranch DirtyFondo 64 Miles

Paul Brannon Epic DirtyFondo Endurance Mountain Bike 64 Mile Route

Tour de Ranch March 23 2013

The 2014 DirtyFondo has been re-named to the Paul Brannon Epic DirtyFondo in honor of our good friend Paul Brannon who passed away in June 2013. Paul created the dirty fondo route along with many of the great routes around our area.

Local cycling icons, Paul Brannon and Bob McDonald discovered portions of this route during the 2012 Tour de Ranch. Never the conformists, Paul and Bob were looking to do an epic endurance mountain bike route that traversed the similar terrain as the Tour de Ranch…but only on dirt. This dirt route leverages the same start, finish and rest stops as the other Tour de Ranch Fondo routes, so you will still be part of the grand event. In fact, we anticipate many of the DirtyFondo riders will be trying to beat their buddies doing the GranFondo to the after ride BBQ!

This route is not for sissies. The roads are the best representation of old Florida Country dirt roads such as the challenging Hard Labor Road and the finishing stretch of rolling hills on Ebenezer Road. Traversing over 48 miles of back country dirt roads, this is one route that you will truly enjoy. Just under 900ft of elevation gain, these rolling country roads will sap the energy out of even the most seasoned endurance mt. biker. If you have not gone Dirty…this may be the route to switch you over!!
