Tour de Ranch GranFondo 2012The 16th annual 2012 Tour de Ranch GranFondo in Vernon Florida had a record number of cyclist’s ride three beautiful routes through the rolling hills of Northwest Florida. The weather forecast was looking ominous, but the skies cleared and made for a perfect day to enjoy cycling through the scenic roads along the 25 mile, 62 mile and 105 mile routes.

This was the first year for Hammer Down Multisport to host the event and we are very pleased with the turnout and support of our local community. Many thanks go out to the wonderful volunteers that made this event a tremendous success. Without you, we would not have been able to put on the event.

Special thanks to our event sponsors Big Daddy’s Bike Shop, Warrior Race Timing, Road ID, Gulf Glo Banners, Avian Engineering, Alan McCulrley CFP, PCBCondoSearch.com, and Freedom Sports.

We perfect weather we had some fast finish times with the first group of GranFondo Century riders finishing the 105 miles in 4:43 or an average speed of 22mph.
